[01:06] Kacey K: Hello, friend. Welcome to another episode of the simply healthy you. Podcast. I am so grateful to be infiltrating your brain with today's topic. My name is Casey Kane. I'm a Certified Integrative Health Practitioner and Certified Holistic Nutritionist with a Master's in Psychology and I'm here to bring you science based conversations to help you live a healthier and happier life today. As you could have guessed from the title, I want to talk to you about Simply Healthy Academy. It is my signature 20 week group coaching program. So much has changed about this program. We are going into the fourth I can't even believe it, fourth year of this program. I started this back in 2020 and it was shortly after the pandemic hit and the best time to be trying to start something from scratch. So much has changed about this program and while I have some of these kinds of episodes on the podcast already, you may have heard of or may have heard an episode like this where I titled it similarly, the Simply Healthy Academy tour. There are so many new and wonderful pieces to this program that have continued to allow us to get our clients maximum results that I just really needed to record a brand new update to this tour because it is so radically different than even what it was last year. So the tour needed some updating. This is going to be a longer episode. I'm going to try to be as quick as I can, but there's a lot of information here, and I wouldn't be doing the program justice if I didn't really give you every aspect of what is included in this program, what the structure is like. And there's been a lot of intentionality about the changes that we've made. So I really want to be able to give it that kind of space. You may have to listen to this episode in chunks if you don't have a longer amount of time to sit down and listen to it. But even if you have never heard of Simply Healthy Academy, if this happens to be the first episode that has shown up in your feed somewhere, I highly recommend listening. Because at some point or another, we are all going to need support on our health journey. And I'm a little biased, but I do think this program is a fantastic way to get the results that you're seeking, especially if you have listened to some of my other episodes. With all the things that we face as women, there is just so much misinformation out there and things that have been hurting our health for decades. Like, this is not new stuff here. And Simply Healthy Academy was specifically designed with that in mind. I mean, that was the intention when I created this program and when I started my business, to be honest. So let's start with what exactly is simply healthy academy? Why is this such an amazing fucking program? There definitely will probably be some F bombs in this one for sure. So there are two main reasons, and I talk about this all the time, why most women struggle with health gut dysbiosis and hormone dysfunction. And these are the root of what we focus on in Simply Healthy Academy, my signature 20 week group coaching program. Your gut is absolutely the foundation of your health. And I know that it's been pretty trendy to talk about, but I don't think that all the information out there is accurate as to how you can heal your gut. Like truly heal it, taking a probiotic, is not it? That might help your digestive symptoms, but that's not actually healing your gut. If something isn't right in your gut, you may experience everything from headaches to skin issues, anxiety, bloating, gas constipation, diarrhea, brain fog, fatigue, to full blown like autoimmune disease, flare ups, and chronic diseases like thyroid dysfunction, diabetes, heart disease, and even cancer. Gut health is just so foundational, it has to be optimized in order for you to feel your best. Hormones are the messengers, keeping the systems in our body communicating properly with each other. And if you look a few episodes back here, I did a whole series on hormones leading up to a workshop that I did recently, because they are that important. Gut health and hormone health to me are just two things that have to be really well taken care of in order for you to feel your best. Your painful and irregular periods, heavy bleeding and clots, middle of the night wake ups, brain fog, night sweats, hot flashes, weight gain, feeling wired but tired can all be related to hormone dysfunction. And like menopause, ladies, this goes for you too. This is not just for women who are in their reproductive years. The reason why Simply Healthy Academy is so fantastic is because we can tackle just about any health issue in this program because of the three pronged approach that we have built out. We look at your diet, we look at lifestyle, and we look at mental health and really attack things from all sides because what I have often seen is intelligent women. You are a smart person. I know that there are things that you have tried in your past that you have researched, that you have thought out a lot before making that commitment and making that investment. And you did think that it was going to be the thing that made the difference for you and how you feel every day and the health issues that you were facing. But what it was likely missing was one of these three components, right? We can't just work on diet in isolation. We can't just work on your exercise and lifestyle in isolation, and we can't just work on your mental health in isolation. You have to do all three because so much of this journey and this healing process comes from all three of those places. You may have a really poor relationship with food based on past dieting history. You may still be afraid of eating carbs. You may still be afraid of eating fats. You may still be restricting entire food groups. You may have had some serious digestive issues that has made you or food sensitivities that has made you averse to certain foods that you are now afraid to put back into your diet. I have a client with Crohn's who was told that fiber was going to be like the enemy of her Crohn's disease, and that is entirely opposite of what is actually the truth. And before starting my program, she confessed to me that she was literally afraid of eating fiber. But she knew that this program was going to be the right place to support her. And being able to reintroduce that into her diet like that means no whole food plants at all. And that's insane. If this is not your first episode on this podcast, you know that that is the foundation of what I teach everyone, that including more whole food plants in your diet is going to solve so many problems and help you maintain a healthy lifestyle after healing some of these issues. So what does the content look like inside of Simply Healthy Academy? Well, there's these three distinct pieces of the actual program the structure, the educational content. We've obviously got the diet and the nutrition piece right. I teach everyone the Simply Healthy method for plant based nutrition, and this is a plant predominant or plant exclusive, should you choose to. I'm not trying to make everyone plant exclusive or vegan. That's not the goal here. There are so many variations of a plant predominant diet that can exist, and many of my clients are still eating animal products of some kind throughout this program. What that looks like is different for each individual and what their goals are or how they feel about certain things. It is a very personal choice to become vegan. There is no health benefit to be plant exclusive that is shown in the data thus far. There are a lot of variations that show 85% to 90%. Plant predominant is the best for health and longevity, so we really don't need to push it further than that. So I teach the Simply Healthy method of being able to increase your plant consumption while still getting to enjoy many of the foods that you love. I don't tell my clients to cut out anything unless there's an actual medical reason that I can see for them to eliminate something. I talk about calories, macros, nutrients and how all of that plays a role in our health, but not in the way that you have probably experienced in previous diets. There is very little emphasis on calories in this program. In fact, about 99.9% of the time I am telling my clients to eat more food because they are so conditioned to eat low calorie from all of the restrictive diets of the past. So there's a good chance when you enroll in Simply Healthy Academy, I'm going to tell you to eat more food. We do not do macro tracking. We do do some nutrient tracking. I use a very different app because I am most concerned with what your micronutrients look like than your macronutrients. Yes, I want to pay attention to make sure you're getting enough fiber, you're getting enough fats, you're getting enough carbs. I want you to eat all three and an abundance of all three, but there's so much less of an emphasis on that. And so I really do a lot of education around that and how shifting the perspective on these things can also make food so much more enjoyable because it is not black and white. There is a whole bunch of gray in between where we all get to create a lifestyle that is sustainable for us but also healthy and fueling the goals that we have. We talk about supporting hormones and gut health with whole foods, not necessarily needing a ton of supplements or anything. Like I know in the past I've had a lot of clients who come to me where their doctors are trying to prescribe more things or recommend surgeries and things or invasive procedures to try to figure out colonoscopies and things like that when it's not necessary. In order to figure out exactly what is going on and to support your body with what is going on. We really work on identifying the root cause of the issues, like I've said, so we can heal at the source. And I have an exciting announcement of something that will be available in this next round that is going to make it even easier for us to identify the root source of it. I'll be honest, I'm pretty darn good at being able to look at the signs and symptoms that my clients come with and being able to say, hey, here's what I think is going on. But now we are going to have an additional feature that is going to make it so much easier to identify those things. We do talk about meal planning and prep because honestly, that is such a huge part of being successful with this long term. But this is not the way every fitness and influencer on Instagram is showing you meal planning and prep right now. This is another area where we really customize and figure out what's going to work for you. Of course, I share strategies. The other coaches too have some strategies of their own that they share as to what has worked in their life. And we help you figure out how to implement that in yours. We talk about herbs. We talk about supplements to support your health. I definitely have recommendations there. There are ones that I think are a foundation that everyone should be taking daily. And there are other ones that I customize to each individual depending on what it is that they have going on with their health at any moment. We talk about how to build a lifestyle that allows for ultra processed foods and animal products should you decide to consume them, that won't negatively impact your health. Like, where is that threshold? And that's different for every single one of us. We learn about food labeling for packaged foods, how to understand exactly what it is that we're eating, being able to look at those labels and feel empowered about the choice that you make when you do purchase that food, knowing that, yeah, okay, this is going to be a less nutrient dense food, but I understand exactly what's in it. I am making that compromise here because elsewhere, I'm not going to make a compromise on this thing. Right? And it's different for each one of us. I have a client who absolutely loves her coffee creamer and she knows, hey, some of the ingredients in my coffee creamer, it's just not great. They are less nutrient dense and that is something that I love. So that one is staying in, but in other areas, like, I don't need whatever x packaged food, so I'm going to get rid of that one instead. And it's all a matter of balance and figuring out what is going to work well for you. And then we also talk about, from a nutrition and diet standpoint, how to make this all work long term so that it's sustainable and so that it's enjoyable. Because what has been the problem with every other fucking diet that you've tried before? It's not enjoyable when you don't get to eat the things that you love and when you have someone imposing strict rules on you that hurt you to the core and tell you that you can't eat your spicy Doritos, right? That's not going to work. It's not going to work if you love your spicy doritos and you're going to feel deprived and restricted and you're doing something wrong every time you eat those foods. It needs to be something that allows you flexibility. So while I will teach you the simply healthy method, it will give you a framework and guidance. What you do with that and how we help you customize it is really where the sustainability comes in and being able to create something that you can do for the rest of your life. There is no more going back to, well, I wonder what diet I'm going to do next. From a mindset piece. This is Kathy, our certified life and mindset coach. This is where she comes in and really helps to work on the mental health aspect of this journey. Like I said, some of us have some really damaged perspectives on food, on dieting, on our body even. Especially if we've gained weight if we've had babies. Like so much of a woman's, life is focused on the changes that are going on in her body and yet it is still something that is so shamed. Through different phases of our life, we are just supposed to stay looking like this cookie cutter Barbie doll. And while it's not all aesthetic, a lot of the issues that I see with clients is that these aesthetic things have come about the weight gain, skin issues. All these things that we see on the outside are red flags showing us that something is not right on the inside. Something is out of balance, something is not functioning properly on the inside. Kathy really helps with setting sustainable and worthwhile goals. This is not the same goal setting that you've done in every other program that you have ever been a part of or any other way that people teach it, because we want you to actually achieve these goals. We work on creating lasting, healthy habits and the actual evidence based ways to create healthy and sustainable habits so that we're not forcing the whole square peg round hole thing, right? Goals don't work and habits don't work when we constantly feel like we are forcing something to happen that we don't truly deeply want to happen. Like if you don't want to have a certain habit, if you don't have a goal of becoming a runner, but you've always tried to go running because you thought that it was the best way for you to lose weight and be healthy. Let's not fucking put a goal of becoming a runner if you despise it, right? That's not sustainable for you. That's not going to help you create a healthy habit. Coping with stress is something we talk about a lot. And Kathy does a lot of work around a lot of life coaching around that as well. Because this program is five months long and we designed it that way on purpose. We've expanded it to that on purpose so that you have life shit that comes up and curveballs that come up and stress that happens in the program and we get to help you navigate that right. It's so much safer to be able to do that inside of the program and be able to figure out how you can take everything that you're learning and still use it through those situations. Is everything going to be perfect? Absolutely not. Are you going to be able to implement everything when stress is really high? No, probably not. But we help you see how you can get back to those things after the moment has passed or the month of stress has passed. Because sometimes it's like that right? And how you can just come right back to the things that you know how to do and also just maintain better through those stressful situations. It doesn't have to be perfect for you to still be maintaining the level of health that you have achieved prior to the stress and making sure that that stressful event or whatever it is, has less of an impact on you or over the long term. She does a lot of great things as well with visualization and journaling and exploring different ways of tapping into your parasympathetic nervous system, being able to detach and unwind and process things that are going on in your life or process things that are going on in your health journey. Because that shit will stick with you and really hold you back physically when your mind is storing a lot of this stuff. It can go as far back as childhood trauma and we don't fully unpack those things in Simply Healthy Academy. We are not therapists, but we will refer you to a therapist if we should see it beneficial because we have experienced a lot of shit in our lifetime. And if you've not unpacked that yet, that will be a barrier for your physical health that will still keep your body in a chronic state of fight or flight stress mode and do things like increasing blood pressure and causing migraines and various various issues that will definitely contribute to leaky gut and whatnot. So that's a huge part of the work that Kathy does and a really valuable piece of what she brings to this program that is extremely unique and you do not usually see inside of these kinds of health programs. The last component that we have to our three pronged approach is exercise and fitness, and that is Kelsey's Area. She is a certified strength and conditioning coach and she is fantastic. She's also doing some specialized certifications for pregnancy and postpartum as well to be able to better learn ways to support those women that are inside of our program. She really helps you with understanding exactly what fitness is because it's not the beach body bullshit workouts that even I did for a really long time. That's not it. That's not the only way that fitness can work for you. And this is another part of the industry that is really just so stigmatized that if you're not doing your exercise in a certain way or a certain amount of times or any of that kind of stuff, that it's not going to be effective or it's not going to be as healthy for you. And that is just such a load of bullshit that she really does a good job of unpacking with our clients. You also need to understand how to fuel your body to handle the increase in movement. It's not all about protein, like everybody says, and that can certainly be a part of it, especially for women who are fifty s. Sixty s post menopause definitely changes over the years. For every decade that we age, we start to synthesize protein a little bit less than we did in the previous decade. So that's certainly a part of aging, but that we can compensate for very easily. But it's not just about protein. It's also about finding what works best for your body. And for many of our clients who are in this healing stage, doing a lot of intense exercise is not going to be beneficial. It's actually going to be extremely counterproductive and cause a lot of issues with your hormones and your gut. And so part of that is actually learning how to scale back, learning how to listen to your body again. If you're experiencing a lot of muscle soreness and joint pain and stiffness after doing workouts, it could be because your body is already so stressed that even with what is supposed to be healthy stress of exercise, it's not healthy, right? It is negatively contributing to your health. So she does a great job of working with every single person, starting exactly where you are today with your exercise and fitness and being able to say, okay, based on what we're seeing here, working in conjunction with me and Kathy, here is where I think you should start for your specific exercise plan. The right kind of exercise and amount for different phases of your healing journey is going to be so important. And she just does such a great job of customizing that. So those are the three prongs that we really focus on inside of Simply Healthy Academy. And I would really like go find me a program that does that because I haven't seen it. I've done an extensive amount of market research because I am always trying to see what my competition is, what's out there in the market, what other people are doing so that I can continue to learn and expand and grow. I don't want to copy what anyone else is doing, but I do know that there is so much that I can be learning, and I'm learning all the time. I've just completed a new certification and I'm about to complete another certification every year. And all the time I'm constantly learning. I have found nothing like this on the market. Anyway, I'm digressing a little bit and I really want to get through the other things for what's in this program. Now, bonus for this May round and should all go well, will be a part of the program forever. Is my other friend Kelsey? Yes, a little bit confusing. We are going to have two Kelsey's in the program. At least they spell it differently so that'll be easy to keep track of. She has been doing a guest appearance inside the program for years now. She is a breath work and somatic practitioner that really works on empowering women to come back home to themselves and their wisdom. So getting really in touch with our bodies and again, through all the things that we have, all the diets and everything else that we have been through in our life has disconnected us so much from our bodies. And breath work is such an amazing way to be able to reconnect. It seems like a bunch of woo woo. But there is actual scientific data that shows how much power breath has in kicking in our parasympathetic nervous system and reducing stress, which is really such an underlying cause for so many of us of a lot of the health issues that we're dealing with. So she used to do just one session inside of the program, and this next round in May, she's actually going to be doing a session every single month. So you will get five breath work sessions inside of this program for an insane value because it is a part of the program. She uses different modalities like meditation, breath work, and other somatic practices to guide and support you in figuring out what your body needs at any given time. It works to help relieve stress and anxiety. And just these are also things that are just a part of being a human, right? So even if your stress isn't chronic and maybe elevating things to a level where it is causing physical issues yet this is going to be so powerful and just helping you cope better in your daily life and being able to have these breath patterns to tap into when you're about to snap your head off at your family because your nerves are at their end for the day. And everyone just needs to leave you alone for a minute, right? They're just such great techniques that are going to be so helpful. Kelsey is also trauma informed, so we see that come up sometimes in breath work sessions or any of these kind of somatic healing protocols, modalities, if you will. And she is trauma informed, so that's very helpful to have her as a part of the program and being able to help women. Should we see that kind of response coming up again, we've all gone through a lot of shit in our lifetimes, myself included, and we don't know at any point in our healing journey when some of those things might be triggered. So it's really valuable to have her as a part of the team and be able to help with that. So now we've got that extra bonus like sort of forest prong too. We're just going to keep growing the branches of this program and giving you all the healing in one place. This is though, why so many women from so many walks of life have been successful at healing the symptoms they've been struggling with for months and years of their lives. Life is absolutely full of obstacles, but your physical health, your mental health, your emotional health does not have to suffer because of it. And that is really the goal of what we try to do with all of our clients inside of this program. Simply Healthy Academy was very intentionally designed, like I said, for 20 weeks. So you have the opportunity to troubleshoot during the program and get additional support for your specific challenges. That way when you are outside of the program, someday you are going to have that experience under your belt and be able to tackle that next event so much better than you might have before. It's still not going to be perfect, right? It still takes practice just like anything else. But we want you to be able to practice inside of the program so you have that outside perspective to be able to support you. The reason why this all came about for me is because I wish I had these resources early on in my healing journey. I have been going through this for years now and it took, I don't even know, it took about three or four years just to even get my autoimmune thyroid diagnosis. And once I got that, I thought, well, that's it. I figured it out. That's the root cause of my issues and everything is going to be smooth sailing from here. I know how to heal from here. And unfortunately, I didn't really understand root cause at that time. I thought like, okay, I've got the diagnosis like autoimmune, yeah, there's nothing I can do about it. And what I know now is that that's absolutely not the fucking case. We are predisposed to things in our genes, but what we do on our diet and our lifestyle actually determines whether or not those switches get turned on and off. And when you have things like autoimmune disease or even just some of these lower level symptoms, even if you have gut dysbiosis or hormone imbalance, that's not the root cause. That's a red flag trying to show you and point you in the direction of what the root cause is. If you think about it like an onion. We've got so many different layers here. The outer layers are all of those symptoms that we're experiencing. I was experiencing so many different symptoms and so I started to piece together all of those symptoms and thought, okay, well, this is very clearly all connected to a thyroid issue. While it seems like I was having skin issues and cycle. Issues and gut issues. When I linked all of those together and took a holistic view of those things, they all could be tied to the thyroid issue, right? So I thought, okay, that's the core of the onion. The thyroid is the core of the onion. But no, it's not. That's actually just a few layers down. So while I was able to work on the symptoms there by not discovering what the root cause of the thyroid issue is, like, what is causing my body right now to attack the thyroid? That's something I still don't know, because I started this journey and then started having babies and breastfeeding and trying to unpack that and discover that root cause in the midst of all of that is like throwing trying to find a needle in a haystack. And so I knew that I had to postpone my journey in that time. Now, the benefit that you get is I've learned a shit ton of stuff in that time, and it's not going to take you years to figure the things out that I have already figured out. You get to benefit from that time that it's taken. And now too, I finally know how I can go about discovering the root cause of my disease and hopefully being able to heal it if too much damage hasn't already been done, right? That is the one thing with autoimmune disease that can sometimes be tricky. I love to say that people can someday not have to be on their pharmaceutical prescriptions and things like that, but in all honesty, it really just depends on how much damage has been done, right? If my body is attacking my thyroid, I have to make sure that my thyroid is actually functional enough to be able to produce everything that it needs to on its own without medication. So anyway, that's why I started this though. Because as I went about the journey, I realized that there are so many foundational things that I could have been doing that would have addressed so many of the issues that I was having and I could have gotten to the root source of my thyroid issue before it actually became the giant problem that it did. It did make pregnancy very difficult for me. It did make my births very difficult. There were a lot of things that I'm still working on recovering from, and that is why I started my business. That is why I started Simply Healthy Academy, because I saw so many women through telling my story, I saw so many women who had gone through similar things, and I just thought it was absolutely fucking bullshit when I realized what it actually takes to support your body and to be able to start discovering the root cause of your issues. It's not that fucking complicated. There are too many people out there trying to make it complicated because they're trying to sell you some shit. And I don't believe that that has to be the case. And that is why I created simply Healthy Academy. In the beginning, this program was just me coaching and teaching, and it was weekly live group coaching calls, just like it is now. There was daily support in our virtual group chat space, which we still have now. And I created a Simply Healthy plant based starter bundle that has an abundance of information in it as to food lists and a plant based pyramid and a plate planner and meal planning stuff and all that kind of stuff. Everyone still gets that, too. Plus I've updated it about three times since the start of this program, and everybody would get recordings to everything. But that was it. That was the core of this program. And it was a twelve week program at the time. And now it's grown to be so much more as I have grown and learned from each round how to better support my clients in getting the best results possible, and just knowing that there are more things now out there and available. I mean, some of the certifications I'm doing now wasn't even available four years ago. They were not even created yet. And that's the beauty, I think, of the emerging science that we continue to have, building on the level of knowledge that we continue to have. I absolutely love that part. I'm just a giant fucking nerd in that aspect because I love this piece of it. And now in this program, you have coaching and teaching provided by three highly qualified professionals. We have multiple certifications between all of us, multiple degrees, decades and decades of experience between all of us. The amount of knowledge that gets brought to this program is just insane to me. I could have never imagined that this is what I was. I dreamed about it. But to say that we're here already is just like crazy to me at times. There are now weekly video modules with education on why you are making the changes that you are making, including downloadable slide decks and worksheets, because I believe so much in empowering you with the information as to why you're making these changes in your life. And some people care about this more than others. I had a client once who was like, casey, I don't care about the science. I know you're using it to prove a point. She's like, But I don't give a shit. I believe you. I trust you. I know that you're telling me things that you have looked at the science for. I don't care about the studies and all that kind of stuff, but I put those into video modules, right? We don't do those on the live calls anymore. We spend the live calls a little bit differently. But you have all of those video modules so that you can understand exactly why it is you're making the decisions that you are and being able to use it as a framework for making decisions in your life. And then we also still have our weekly live group coaching calls. But on these calls now, we help you plan how you're going to implement the information that you're learning so there's less overwhelm when it comes to execution. And then we help you, as you're implementing things, tweak and change to make sure that this is going to be something that is sustainable for you, that creates a lifestyle that you actually want to live, that you are happy living. Because every diet before, every other plan program that you tried before, the reason why it didn't work is because it wasn't actually something that you wanted to do for the long term. They're not designed that way. They're absolutely not designed that way. There's still daily support in our virtual group chat space, so you really get to know the women that you are doing the program with and it really is such an invaluable part of the program. I know sometimes we kind of feel self conscious being in a group with other women. We feel like our issues are just so different than anyone else. And no matter how much evidence we see that other people have been successful with the healing journey that they're on, and that we just think that we're so different, right? We think that we're a unicorn and can be kind of embarrassed going into these group spaces. But I have seen every single client come out of their shell in this group space and really being able to connect with each other and cheer each other on. Because when we are spending five months together, that's a lot of time. And this is such a personal journey that it just benefits you so much to be able to open up in that way. And so Kelsey puts that together in a YouTube playlist and you are going to have those to access whenever you want. So when you're working out on your own and you don't know what to do, you have this free resource available to you from this program. You also have the ability to upgrade to a premium access package, which gives you one on one support and personalized attention even more from each one of the coaches. So you really get to refine and hone in on the different areas that each one of the coaches works on. And with you in private, one on one calls. Everyone, no matter what, gets assigned an accountability coach within the program to help you show up and keep your commitment to yourself, because that's one of the hardest things to do sometimes. Life tries to get in the way a lot, and so we really pride ourselves on making sure that someone is keeping track of you. Sounds kind of creepy when I say it that way. Someone is keeping track of you the entire time in the program. Like, if you don't show up and we don't hear from you, we're going to track you down, we're going to find out what's going on because we want you to be successful. And then, of course, we have those added breathwork sessions that I was talking about. So what is it that really makes Simply Healthy Academy so different? I just shared with you all the bells, the whistles, all that stuff like, yeah, okay, sounds great, Casey, but what is so different about this? There are lots of other programs that are packed with all kinds of information. What I think makes Simply Healthy Academy so different is it's not just a diet plan. It is a curriculum to help you heal your relationship with food, heal your relationship with your body, reduce or eliminate issues that you are facing currently experiencing with your physical health, your mental health, your emotional health. It's not just one of any of those things as I talked about. It is a very synergistic program that looks at you as a whole person for a change. I mean, amongst the three of us, we could do it and still provide the same level of quality that we do now. Typically women enroll for specific symptoms that they're experiencing and wanting to get rid of things or wanting to be proactive and making sure, like, hey, I'm thinking about getting pregnant soon and I want to make sure that I'm really healthy, right? They enroll for those kinds of things. But what ends up happening is a total mindset and life transformation by the end of the program and they are just absolutely blown away. Because no matter how much I say it before you enroll in the program, you're still not really going to believe me or any of the other coaches when we tell you what's going to happen until you get to the end of the program. We are not here to dictate to you what you must do to be healthy again. We help you create a framework or a way that you want to live your life. And based on the data that we know to be true, the reality is there is actually so much flexibility here, but especially as women, we've been made to believe that it needs to be really complicated and restrictive, like I said before, and it's just a bunch of bullshit. The other part of this program that makes it so different, as I was just mentioning, is the accountability piece. I know the struggle. I know how many times I self sabotaged and thought that there was no way that I was ever going to get anywhere in my healing journey because I had so much evidence of failure before. I wish I had the level of accountability that we have in this program at those times when I was giving up on myself. You get your dedicated accountability coach and we really do make it pretty hard for you to fail. You really have to ignore us completely and delete social media and your email and everything else to be able to ignore us in this program, the community of women that you're a part of are all working toward a better lifestyle. Even if your situations are very dissimilar, it really brings a level of support that most of us underestimate that camaraderie of having women who are also going through something and have the same approach goal. Right. We're all trying to do it from a more holistic standpoint that just is so valuable inside of this program. You probably don't have many other people in your life who are starting to look at health the way you are. If you've gotten to this podcast episode, like, you clearly have made a decision to look at your health a bit differently than what mainstream consists of right now. And while our family and friends mean well, if they're not at the same place in their health journey, it's going to feel really unsupportive and really lonely when they want you to go out for drinks or eat the ultraprocessed foods or skip your workout. And all of those things can have a place in your life. And we help you figure that out in the program, but you are probably going to choose a different frequency of those occurrences because of your health goals inside of this program. So who is simply healthy? Academy for Casey? This all sounds great. I think this could be a good fit for me, but I'm not really sure. Like, is my situation dire enough? Am I experiencing the things that you talk about with your other clients? I'm not really sure. Many women, I think, face these common desires and frustrations, like wanting to improve our physical and mental health and chasing career life goals and creating meaningful relationships and experiences in our life. But many times there are things with our health that are holding us back. And so that's what I want you to really think about in your life. You may be so used to waking up every day and feeling chronic fatigue that you have just figured out how to kind of power through it and you don't necessarily notice that it's a symptom anymore. You may have migraines so frequently that it's just a normal part of life. So some of the things I want you to ask yourself do you wake up feeling exhausted? Even if you've gotten a full night's sleep? Do you go through your day feeling like at any moment you could close your eyes and drift off to sleep? Are you always needing that afternoon cup of coffee to help you make it through to the end of the day? Are you really wired even though you're exhausted at bedtime and can't fall asleep? Or on the opposite, do you struggle to stay asleep? Are you like, narcoleptic at bedtime? You can fall asleep super fast, but you struggle to stay asleep and you wake up for hours in the night for who knows? What reason? Are you constantly feeling frazzled and fried and making it hard to think straight and keep focus and attention on what it is that you're doing? Do you walk into rooms and forget why you walked in there in the first place? Is it hard for you to focus on tasks or projects and they just take you so much more time to complete than they used to?
